Josh Smith joins DecoNetwork

As our business grows we continue to add awesome and passionate people to our team, and Josh Smith certainly fits that description.

Josh started his digital photographic career started in 1998 when, with the help of FujiFilm UK, his company Red Snapper Photo photographed and printed over 10,000 digital photos of Arsenal fans with the FA Cup and Premier League Trophy.

We’re excited to welcome Josh who has kindly provided a short intro of himself to share.

1998 was the first time Arsenal had won the double in 20 years and this started my digital imaging journey.

Over the next 5 years, while Arsenal continued to win silverware, we photographed their fans, but I also opened our photographic stand in Hamleys Toystore on Regent Street. Here I built up a wealth of experience producing a wide variety of photo gifts. We started with mugs, t-shirts and key rings, but over the years we introduced an ever wider variety of gifts for all occasions, from canvas photo blocks to photo crystals and boutique photo bags. In 2010 we launched ‘miphone’ – the first personalised, scratch proof hard case for the iPhone 3G. There was no other case like it on the market and being opposite the Apple Store in Regent Street helped. We went on to develop more iPhone cases but as demand grew we needed a web solution that allowed a customer to design online and not to rely on emailed photos.

DecoNetwork proved an ideal solution. Not only does it have a rock solid non flash based designer but also a fantastic business administration system as well.

Throughout our online e-commerce journey the team at DecoNetwork were and are a great support. Whether it is technical advice on the administrative ‘back end’ of the site or help customising the look of the site they have always been there – able and willing to provide great support.

I’m really pleased therefore to join the team and show others how their business can benefit from DecoNetwork now and in the future as it continues to evolve as a premium solution for the Decoration Industry.
