Hello, friends. The initial release of the Condé catalog is in the final stage of submission. We found a coding error that required us to resubmit several catalogs this week (Condé included), but should fix a problem that was causing products to “disappear” from the PenCarrie catalog.
In terms of product progress, we updated product images for two products in BTC Activewear and 19 products in S&S Activewear. In the Ralawise catalog, we processed 59 new products and we 30 in Alphabroder. Earlier today, I received new data from SanMar Canada for their 2019 catalog update. We will work this into our production schedule as soon as we can.

Hi there, ghouls and boys. Are you ready for Halloween? I anticipate that the Condé catalog will go live next week. We have just a few more new decoration area types to create and we’ll be ready to go. Our time not spent on preparations there was spent on the Ralawise catalog, where we processed 69 new products.

In this latest update, several intuitive features and improvement have been implemented. These features and improvements include the ability to print worksheets directly from Business Hub, ability to quickly copy an entire quotes or order, two new theme templates, and 121 tasks completed with this update.

You can now copy a whole quote or order directly from within Business Hub. Another great productivity improvement. #53 request in the Top 100 Ideas.
New: Details of decorated products built from blank products
Each blank product now has a tab which lists (and links through to) all the decorated products that have been built from a blank product.
New: Added brand option against blank products widget
Added option to display the brand against blank product lists and on the blank products page.
New: Extended logging against Purchase Order log
Added more detail against an SKU item to display current Purchase Orders that contain the SKU items.

Greetings, all. I have some good news for you! We are very close to getting a portion of the Condé catalog live. We have 16 products that have been configured and are ready to go. Once they were completed, we realized, however, that we need to create some new decoration area types in order to accommodate the new products offered. I’m not sure exactly when the catalog will go live but we’ll be sure to let you know, both by social media and this blog. Currently, we have the data for an additional 32 products but are awaiting product images from Condé.
Aside from Condé, we focused our efforts almost exclusively on the Ralawise catalog this week. We were able to configure a total of 107 products there. We still have plenty more to go but feel good about our progress at present. In terms of our typical weekly maintenance, we updated images for 5 products in the SanMar catalog and 4 in S&S Activewear.

We will be shifting our focus to the Ralawise catalog for the time being. You’ve all been waiting patiently and we appreciate it. This week, we added one new product to SanMar and updated images for one other. We updated images for four products in S&S Activewear. We also updated images for one product in BTC Activewear. Over in Alphabroder, we processed 26 new products. Finally, in Ralawise, we processed 28 new products.

Seasonal slowdowns are normal in every business. To combat this, take a look at your past business years and start creating your budget now. Creating your budget begins with knowing when business slowdowns have occurred in the past. Review your sales numbers for past winters and take note of when you start to see a drop off and when you start to see them rise again. This should help in determining just how much money you’ll need to put aside each month to stay afloat during winter slowdowns. You can also use this information to determine when and where to cut back on your expenses (ie. operation hours, seasonal employees). The goal is to have your budget in place to avoid temporarily closure of your shop.
Tip #2. Explore new ways to find customers
Get a jump start on sales before they begin to slowdown by exploring new ways to find customers. Consumers give a higher level of trust to recommendation that come from family, friends, and industry influences more then other forms of advertising. Here are a few options to explore:
Start printing company t-shirts and wear then around town. Throw in phrases or references only locals will understand. Then, give them away for free to loyal customers!
Take out your email list and reach out to past customers and ask for Yelp or Google reviews.
Another way to take advantage of your email list is to promote a sale or discount code. No one likes to miss out on a great deal, so make sure to mention the promo expiration date.
Partner up with trending influencers in your industry or area. Many influencers will promote your brand to their audience for free merch or at a low cost.
Tip #3. Keep your customer relationships warm
It’s winter but it does not mean you can let your customer relationships get cold. Building and maintaining customer relationships and increase your customer retention rates. Here is the why:
Selling to a current customer has a 60-70% success rate
Selling to a new customer only has a 5-20% success rate.
Recruiting new customers costs 5x as much as retaining current customers.
Recognizing your customers business outside of the services you provide is a great way to build a relationship. Here are a few things you could do to build on your customer relationships:
Be a brand ambassador for your clients, refer people who could their services.
send a congratulatory email when your customer gets good press or wins awards.
Get social with your clients. Leave encouraging comments in your customers posts via Facebook or Instagram. If your customer promotes something on Twitter, give them a retweet.

Well folks, over the past two weeks we’ve had data for nearly 2000 new products submitted to us. It’s a lot to contend with but we’ll do our best. We did manage to get through the remaining products in S&S Activewear that had malfunctions. We updated 54 products there and added 4 new ones. We also updated one product and added two new ones in SanMar. Finally, in Alphabroder, we added 43 new products.

SanMar Corporation, a leading supplier of apparel and accessories, along side with the Why Not You Foundation, recently donated $126,100 to Friends of the Children. SanMar’s home office and eight distribution centers held several fundraisers for Friends of the Children, which is a national organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty.
SanMar employees donated both time and money in several different ways, including food and dessert sales, wine tasting, raffles, product sales and more. This was such a great way for SanMar employees to really get creative while raising funds for a great organization that has inspired and benefited children around the country.

Hi there. It’s another week in the books at DecoNetwork. Here’s what we got accomplished in the catalog department: we added two new products to the SanMar catalog, 1 new product to S&S Activewear and 10 new products to Ralawise. Also in the S&S Catalog, we updated a whopping 162 products! I’ll try not to break my arm patting myself on the back. These are products that had been missing back and/or sleeve views, using all wire frames when there were now product images available, or had other errors that affected aesthetics while not causing malfunctions. There are about 30 more of these to address next week before we dive back in to adding new products to Alphabroder and continuing work on Ralawise.
