Creating an order in DecoNetwork Business Hub

Do your t-shirt printing order forms look a little something like this?

Hand written forms that would make a doctor proud… manual cost and price calculations… text description of a logo or design arrangement…

And then you need to make a change… get out the liquid paper or start scribbling out your comments!

Finally when the order is done you need to manually re-enter all this information into your accounting software. It’s easily open to errors and is an administration nightmare.

This is why using DecoNetwork to enter and manage your orders makes sense and saves you dollars at the same time.

Here’s how you do it:

1. Log into your DecoNetwork website and browse to Business Hub:

2. From the left menu select Orders to display your list of current orders and to enter a new order.

3. Select Add New Order from the top-right options bar:

4. The new order screen will appear. Here you can select your customer:

If you are selling to an existing customer you can search for the customer by name. phone, email or any of the other fields available in the search options.

5. To add a product select one of the items in the quote menu bar:

• Add New Product lets you select an item you’ve already added from a supplier catalog to your DecoNetwork. i.e. Gildan 2000 tee.
• Add Free Form Product lets you type in a new product using text only. You can select size and colors. This is best used for a one-off sale of this product.
• Add Previously Ordered Product lets you select a product you’ve sold to this client before, including the designs and decorations.
• Load Designer starts with loading the designer and letting you select a product and decorate it there.
• Add Extra Charge lets you add extra-charge items like bagging and tagging. You can link these extra charges to products appearing in your order line items.

6. We’ll select Add New Product to select a product from a supplier catalog already enabled in our DecoNetwork.

A new line item will be created and a drop-down lets you search for the item by name or code:

7. Once you select an item you can set the quantity and sizes, plus colors.

Click the Color drop-down to select the item’s color;

8. Click the Size / Qty drop-down to enter a quantity for each size. Note that larger sizes may have a higher price.

9. Next you can upload the client’s designs using the Online Designer. Click the Load in Designer icon to launch the online designer:

10. When the designer loads you can upload a design, select from stock designs, or add text or a team name option.

The massive advantage of an online design is the accurate visual representation of the end product ensuring the client knows exactly what the end product will look like. This is for the advantage of your client and your production team.

When finished select Done.

The decorating cost is calculated automatically using the decoration price tables and rules you have already configured in your DecoNetwork. This ensures consistency with your pricing and eliminates user error.

12. Add additional line items if required.

13. Next select the shipping method to use for this order:

11. If required you can apply a line or order total discount by selecting the Discount to apply a discount on a line-item level or Final Discount to apply a discount to the whole order.

Once done you can save your order and / or save and email a copy to your customer.

 

With your order now in DecoNetwork you can seamlessly import your orders directly into your account software such as Xero or QuickBooks which eliminates any need to re-type the order again.

It also appears on a user-friendly dashboard for your production team to select and download the production-ready artwork.
