Sublimation Printing on T Shirts

If you’re unaware of the sublimation process, it’s actually quite simple, but the results are astounding.  It begins with printing out your digital artwork onto a heat transfer sheet from a sublimation printer.  The printer uses heat reactive dyes which will sublimate, convert from a solid to a gas, when heated.  The transfer sheet then gets placed onto the blank shirt and together they are heat pressed to apply the design.  The heat and pressure forces the dyes to sublimate and then bind to the fibers of the garment for a permanent hold.
