Fused with bold colours and experimental characters and forms is the work of Offenach based graphic designer and illustrator Nadine Kolodziey. Motivated by her daily life impressions, Kolodziey’s wonderfully experimental approach to her work produces a colourful, multilayered visual language in each of her pieces. Through cutting, glueing, photoshopping and hand rendering, she assembles a range of different styles and perspectives resulting in busy, playful pieces of print.
People Of Print spoke to Nadine to find out more about the inspiration behind her work. “I try to work wherever i am – daily life and strolling around are my main sources for ideas. Collecting tiny things, stories and weird circumstances along the way. I want to give an impression of what we are able to read in between the things and lines. I see my work as visual research and commentary to my direct and virtual surrounding. Usually I dance when I’m working.”
Nadine’s Salto Mag 2 publication is up on Department Store!
