Here Design Studio

A new exciting addition to our curated marketplace, Department Store, is London-based studio Here Design. These guys are a company of thinkers, writers, designers and makers working together create beautiful and useful solutions and products. With graphic elements such as type design, typography and photography forming the core themes of their work, this week we’ve chosen to highlight their new Missing Marks publication.

Missing Marks is a beautifully made book about all the punctuation points you always suspected you needed but didn’t know existed. Whether you need to express that you know your shit [apostrophobe symbol], prone to exaggeration [exagerwait symbol], often, erm, need to, erm, take a little time to think of just the right way to say something [erm-dash symbol], or just want to drop the mic after you’ve made your point? [mic drop symbol]. Printed with gorgeous black foiling on the front cover, perfect bound, this little gem is a great find.

Along with Missing Marks publication, you can find punctuation inspired pin badges and a fantastic 64-page hardbound book featuring remarkable black and white photographs by Walter Nurnberg.
