Emma McDermott

Emma McDermott is a recent Graphic Design and Illustration graduate, currently based in Liverpool, UK. In her current job she mostly designs for the UK’s biggest pub retailer, creating a range of print based designs such as posters, banners and flyers.

Emma also has a passion for publication design, especially when the opportunity arises to combine it with other passions, such as poetry/prose, music, food culture and photography.

Her vast range of interests allows her to gather inspiration and incorporate it into her designs. As a given, this also gives her a natural curiosity to explore and learn about a range of different subject matters.

Colour is a main component of Emma’s design, with pink being a reoccurring theme in a lot of her work. She also loves playing with typography and imagery.
