Seals can be traced back far into our history. Each seal would be unique to its owner and would often be used in place of a signature or in combination with due to widespread illiteracy during the 13th century. Traditionally stamped directly onto the document, or envelope to seal it shut, seals were typically used in private correspondence between two people. This however dulled out when a postage reform in the form of the industrial age took hold of the Western World. Fast forward to the modern day, seals have, similar to calligraphy, been resurrected in the art of letter writing in our digital age.

Over the last 5 years, Stamptitude have strived to bring the art of wax sealing to the modern market. Creating beautiful, custom finishes for invitations, letters and all kinds of other correspondence.
