These guys are fresh on the scene and we’re loving what they’re doing. For those of you who don’t know, the Black Winnebago Club is an online artist collaboration store, selling t-shirts hand-printed in their studio – Blackwater Studios. Combining the format of collectable and original design, their aim is to take an illustrator’s work, onto the road and clothe the world in some fabulous garments and accessories. Two Girls Co is a wife and wife design team based in Bristol, UK. Vicki is a furniture designer and Lucy is an art director, which gives them a cross-discipline combination of knowledge and skills. Last year, they decided to combine their skills to launch their first product, the ‘Designers Rule’ pin. Since then, it has been featured on a variety of internationally-renowned blogs, which led to the pins finding their way to all corners of the globe, including USA, Lebanon, Brazil, Japan, China and Australia.
Known for their poppy colours, abstract compositions and illustrations, Animal Press have a stunning range of screenprints, risograph prints and pin badges. All plastered with their quirky characters and doodles.
Anthony Burrill Ampersand Pin Badge
This pin features the work of Anthony Burrill who is a graphic artist, printmaker and designer who is known for his persuasive, up-beat style of communication. His work is held in the permanent collections of the V&A Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Barbican Art Gallery, the Walker Art Center and the Design Museum.
This high-quality pin is made using enamel and metal. The white enamel ampersand is set within a circular black raised metal area, smoothed then polished. It is 25mm in diameter and featured a butterfly clasp on the reverse to secure it onto any garment or fabric item.
