Ewelina Skowronska is a visual artist and printmaker. She was born in Poland and now lives and works between London and Tokyo. After working in advertising Ewelina decided to fully dedicate herself to art in 2012. She went to study at the University of the Arts of London and specialised in Visual Arts. Through her work, the artist explores the interplay between shape, colour, patterns and perspective.
In her exhibition Inner Moments, exhibiting in Tokyo – Ewelina is showing ceramics objects and prints – exploring the abstract and figurative. Inner moment is a series of work where the artist gages with the female form. Showing the female body as a finite whole, suggesting a sense of space and fluidity for the viewer. The work shown is a combination of screen printing mixed with etching. Results are a unique and powerful contrast.
