Jamie Edler is an illustrator that lives in London. His work is mostly digital and print based. Although his illustrations are made with beautiful soft palettes, full of pastel and washed out colours – Jamie tackles through his drawings more serious issues such as mental health and everyday struggles.
Humour – tongue and cheek, is also a way for the illustrator to approach sensitive subjects, usually deemed risky. Jamie likes to deal with own issues through his work and make them approachable for people to look at whilst still maintaining the seriousness of the issue.
Through his time in university in Falmouth, where he studied illustration – Jamie has truly developed his own style, through his travels such a Berlin where he did an exchange during university and even China before hand, where you can see he draws a lot of inspiration from.
