We’re excited to announce the release of artist Jeremy Booth’s giclee prints that have been created exclusively for our curated marketplace, Department Store. Filled with an assortment of talented independent artists, brands, and shops, Department Store is a hub of creative wonders from prints such as screen prints, risograph and monoprints to magazines, zines, homewares and accessories. Carefully selected by our team, Department Store is growing into an amazing community of creatives, Jeremy included.
This talented artist is originally a self-taught digital illustrator living and working in Louisville Kentucky. Jeremy has worked with several established clients such as GQ, Les Echos, Amazon, and Orange. Last year, he began painting as a way to relieve stress, express himself, and to try something new. His new found love of creating these paintings came to the forefront of Jeremey’s lifestyle. Now it’s illustration by day and painting by night, a double threat guy.
His stylistic approach is similar to his illustration in many ways but is also very different. Colors, perspective, and approach are similar and his love for the simple, powerful shapes and cropped composition came all too clear to him. This particular series of prints is inspired by such notions.
We spoke to Jeremy to find out more about his future plans: “I have many ideas and plans regarding my future as an artist but recently I have been thinking through how I can collaborate with brands/organizations. Right now I’m working on getting approval to paint a basketball court here in Louisville. Hopefully, that comes to fruition” and so do we!
If you want to get involved in making exclusive items for our online store then please get in touch with our Department Store manager Amber at amber@peopleofprint.com with your submission. This is also open to current vendors!
