Corbin Wood is a trained architect slash an aspiring illustrator and designer, operating under the creative studio moniker ‘Atelier Bebop’. She is originally from the North East of England and now living in Manchester.
Here is the throw she designed for Slowdown Studio, who was selected as the winner for the 2017 Slowdown Art Camp. Slowdown Studio is designer Marc Hendrick LA based and originally from Australia – who picks and chooses to collaborate with his fav artists across the globe creating these beautiful unique pieces.
A small batch number of these were produced in the USA – 40 to be exact. Each throw is 100% cotton which is also grown, spun, and woven in the US. Measuring at 1780 x 1370mm the throw is quite large and can be used of a multitude of purposes, such as a throw to go over your bed, a blanket to snuggle up on the sofa or even a wall hanging. It’s a beautiful piece of work – a beautiful combination of colours, plenty of shapes and a bit of a Matisse vibe too.
Each throw is supplied with a miniature postcard featuring the original work. Get all snuggled up and check out Corbin’s work
