Custom Dye Sublimation

Custom Dye Sublimation

There’s nothing like custom dye sublimation.  Truly, there are some designs that are impossible to print on fabric unless you use custom dye sublimation.  Let’s take a photograph as an example.  If you want to print a photograph onto a garment and you want all of the details and colors to be recreated perfectly, then you can’t do better than sublimation.

If you’re new to custom dye sublimation, you’re probably wondering why, so let me fill you in.  Dye sublimation printing actually begins with printing your artwork out of a special sublimation printer.  That part is digital so you know it’s going to be 100% precise and you don’t have to worry about any color separations or registration issues like with screen printing.  The printer contains a heat reactive dye that will sublimate (when a substance becomes a gas directly from the solid state) when heated.  The printer applies the artwork to a heat transfer sheet so that you can heat press it to the blank garment.  The heat from the press causes the dyes to activate and the pressure forces the now gaseous dye to permanently infuse into the fabric you’re printing on.

Custom Dye Sublimation

Custom dye sublimation is quick to apply, but it will last the lifetime of the garment!  Since the dyes bind with the garment, your print essentially becomes a part of the fabric so you won’t experience any cracking or peeling no matter how much you wash it.  You get gorgeous, lightweight, and durable prints, so what more can you ask for?  So if you are interested in trying our custom dye sublimation for yourself, you can easily contact us at AMBRO Manufacturing to place an order, or to find out more about our company and services, by email or by giving us a call at (908) 806-8337.
