The Steckline Gallery at Newman University will present work by artist Andrew DeCaen, featuring a public opening reception on Friday, Friday, September 29 from 5-7pm and an Art for Lunch Lecture Tuesday, October 3 from noon to 1pm at the DeMattias Fine Arts Center. The exhibition is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 1 to 4pm, or by appointment. Plenty continues Andrew’s DeCaen’s interest themes of eating and food with new works in printmaking, drawing, and paper sculpture. The exhibition includes new works created as a result of the artist’s residency at the Lithographic Academy of Tidaholm, Sweden.
