Are you a football fanatic, but despise the commercial design of traditional football mags longing to rest your eyes of beautifully designed infographics and articles. You’re in luck as this year sees the return of Season Annual – a publication dedicated to documenting the highs and lows of the Premier League season in week by week analysis. Season works with over 40 contributors to produce a 400+ page book which includes, illustration, sports journalism and infographics.
The result, a beautiful publication that even the non-creative couldn’t resist to pick up and read.
Following the success of the first edition, the second edition is set to be launched on the 15th of June. Below we’ve included a little snippet of info that will be included in this years edition.
“This years Premier League has lived up to its reputation as one of the most exciting and unpredictable football leagues in the world. An influx of some of the most highly rated managers in the game has seen competition for the top six places increase dramatically. Antonio Conte turned the fortunes of Chelsea, while being pushed all the way by the likes of Pep Guardiola’s Man City, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham and Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The battle to avoid relegation was as dog-eat-dog as ever with three teams from the North East; Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Hull City, all facing the drop. Ultimately Chelsea triumphed, winning a record 30 games and running away with the competition to seal their 5th Premier League title” – Season.
