Packing for Convention!

With less than a month to go, many of our Sisters have been thinking about what they need to pack for National Convention in Chicago. We know that packing can always be a little overwhelming, so we have created a few examples and guidelines so your #OOTD is on point!

 Stay organized with this pre-made packing list! 

Day 1
Your first day will be filled with fun and exciting events! From checking into your fabulous hotel room with a view to attending a reunion or the Mag Mile Mixer, we’ve got you covered! This day you will want to spend in Quill Attire. Save your fancy cocktail dresses for later in the week, you will want to be comfortable and casual.

Day 2
Thursday is a special day for Alpha Xi Delta, our Alpha Deuteron Chapter will gain new members at our Convention-wide initiation ceremony. For this event, you will want to wear Initiation attire, but for the remainder of the day you are free to wear Quill attire.

Day 3
Celebrate our partnership with Autism Speaks by wearing your very best blue to our Philanthropy Breakfast. Later on, if you purchased Cubs tickets, you will want to change into jeans or shorts, comfortable walking shoes and your Alpha Xi Delta Cubs top for our Sisterhood outing at Wrigley Field. You can change back into your Philanthropy Breakfast attire or wear something equally formal for our Awards Celebration that evening.

 

Day 4
We have a lot of business to attend to on Saturday, so Quill attire is your best bet for the morning and early afternoon. You will want to wear cocktail attire for our Rose Banquet that evening, and be sure to take a photo in our Shining Star Galaxxi!

 

 

Exercise 
Each morning we will start the day with an optional exercise program. Please wear appropriate active wear that you feel comfortable breaking a sweat in. Thursday's morning exercise will include an amaXing DivaDance session with Jami Stigliano. 

Soak in this experience, network with Sisters and actively participate in all of our general sessions. We cannot wait to celebrate Alpha Xi Delta’s magnificent milestones with you!
