Undergraduate Giving Challenge

Dear Sister,

                Have you experienced impactful moments that challenged you to think differently? Had opportunities that you were so thankful to receive? Have some of these experiences been related to Alpha Xi Delta?

                Surely, this was the case for me and much of it can be attributed to the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation. When joining Alpha Xi Delta, I knew that I wanted to dive right in to be able to get the most out of it. I learned about the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation and its mission of supporting development, continuing to expand financial resources, and encouraging philanthropy really resonated with me. This is why I first gave to the Foundation through the Undergraduate Giving Challenge.

                As I continued through my time in the chapter, I was fortunate enough to attend The Founder’s Academy while I served as Chapter President. This summer conference was easily one of the best leadership immersion experiences I have had to date. I was able to develop my leadership skills, creatively think through how I can serve my chapter better and create lasting friendships with other Alpha Xi Deltas from across the nation. It was because of past donors and support of fellow Sisters through the Undergraduate Giving Challenge that I was able to participate in this summer conference. I continued to participate in the Undergraduate Giving Challenge to ensure that future Sisters have access to the same opportunity that I did which has impacted me tremendously.

                Now, as an alumna, I proudly support the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation because I know firsthand of its impact. Travelling as an Educational Leadership Consultant and seeing the impact that Leadership Coaches have on the leadership development of undergraduate Sisters has been wonderful to witness. The Alpha Xi Delta Foundation truly commits to helping every Sister to realize her potential and it cannot continue with out donations and support from Sisters and our loved ones.  

                I encourage you to consider learning more about the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation, participating in the Undergraduate Giving Challenge, and continuing to support as an alumna. I know for me, it would be the least I could do after all that it has given me!
