Things Organized Neatly by Austin Radcliffe recasts the messiness of everyday life and recasts it in neat and appealing designs. Based on the Webby Award winning Tumblr blog, TON displays thoughtfully composed everyday objects, displayed beautifully to enthral the ‘neat freak’ in all of us. From candy arranged by gradient, to mobile phones from the past 20 years laid out with perfect spacing, TON capitalises on our current obsession with photographing and cataloguing everyday objects.
With many images of food laid out ‘Instagram-esque’, in visually appealing and often humorous designs, TON dramatises amateur iPhone photography in a way that highlights our own personal bizarre traits. But really, who actually cares what you had for breakfast?
