It gets printed out onto a heat resistant paper with a printer using specialized dye cartridges. The print out is laid over the fabric to be printed and put into a sublimation press. The press applies heat and pressure for a short time. During that time, the dye on the paper is released as a gas and absorbed into the material. Once it cools, the print is permanently locked in and it’s ready to wear!
